Biography

 Julie Krakowski is a French visual artist based in Brussels. 

 Following her education in visual arts she moved on to textile design 
 at La Cambre National College for Visual Arts in Brussels, from where 
 she graduated with both a Master’s degree and a teaching qualification. 
 She is currently involved in projects with several Schools of Art and 
 collaborates with various institutions (ESAAT, Le Quai, Bruxelles 
 Jeunesse, Wiels…). She received a grant for the year 2011-2012 from 
 the Tapestry Foundation in Tournai, Belgium. 

 She takes a transversal approach to her work by combining various 
 different fields of the visual arts (textile, ceramics, etc.)
