Following on from Coffee and Cigarettes, Dégustation and Crustaceans involves
work done around the idea of the food and mealtimes. Scraps (shrimp shells and
crumpled cake papers…) become sublimated by the porcelain. These miniatures take
on a state that is both fragile andprecious.
